Use of Modo
Modo provides generated courses, lessons, quizzes, flashcards, progress tracking, and subscription features. You are responsible for how you use generated learning content.
Accounts
Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Subscriptions
Plus and Pro subscriptions renew monthly through Stripe unless canceled. You can manage billing through the account page after subscribing.
Generated Content
Generated courses may contain mistakes, may not be unique, and may require human review. You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before publishing, selling, exporting, or relying on them.
Uploaded and Source Materials
You must own or have sufficient rights, licenses, or permission for any notes, files, transcripts, URLs, slides, manuals, articles, or other source materials you upload, paste, import, or ask Modo to use.
Copyright and Originality
You may not use Modo to copy third-party courses, books, articles, transcripts, manuals, proprietary materials, worksheets, quizzes, lesson flows, examples, or distinctive presentation styles. You may not use Modo to bypass plagiarism detection, disguise copied content, or closely paraphrase third-party materials.
Publication Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring final course content is lawful, accurate, non-infringing, and appropriate for your audience. High-stakes content, including legal, medical, financial, tax, compliance, safety, or health topics, should be reviewed by a qualified professional before publication.
Acceptable Use
Do not abuse the service, attempt to access other users' data, reverse engineer private systems, submit illegal or harmful content, or use Modo to clone competitors, creators, paid programs, copyrighted works, or proprietary training.
Cancellations
You may cancel through the Stripe Customer Portal. Access generally remains until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise required by law.
